Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

What is a Bogooga drop?

A drop is a limited period during which selected Bogooga pieces are available to pre-order. Once the drop closes, we confirm the final quantities and begin the making, collection and quality-control process.

When will I receive my order?

Bogooga pre-orders typically arrive around 8–10 weeks after the drop closes. The current expected shipping or delivery information is displayed before you place your order.

Why does it take several weeks?

Many Bogooga pieces are handmade in small quantities. After a drop closes, the pieces are made or collected in Egypt, inspected, consolidated into one shipment to Prague and checked again before individual orders are dispatched.

When do I pay?

Full payment is collected when you place your pre-order.

Can I return a pre-order?

Yes. Our standard, non-personalised products can be returned in accordance with our Returns & Refunds policy. Pre-ordering does not remove the consumer rights described in that policy.

Will my piece look exactly like the photograph?

Handmade pieces may show small variations in colour, texture, finish or detailing. We consider these variations part of the character of handmade production rather than defects.

Where are Bogooga products made?

The products in our current collection are handmade in Egypt and curated by Bogooga.

Where are orders shipped from?

After the collection reaches Europe and completes its final check, individual customer orders are fulfilled from Prague, Czechia.

Will I pay customs charges when my order arrives?

Orders delivered within the EU are fulfilled from Czechia after the collection has entered the EU, so customers should not receive a separate import-duty request when their individual Bogooga parcel arrives.

What happens if my item arrives damaged?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs of the item and packaging. We'll arrange an appropriate solution. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

What does Notify Me mean?

If a piece is not currently available, Notify Me lets you register your email so we can tell you if it becomes available in a future Bogooga drop.
